Sometime back, someone was looking for references to women who were prostitutes who also happened to be Jewish and at the time, we didn't have a case or reference to one.

This one is from 1908. The woman was a prostitute who happened to be Jewish and was also an unfortunate.

Hi How,

This case was covered by Jonathan Oates in his book, Unsolved Murders in Victorian and Edwardian Murders. It seems that Chief Inspector Thomas Divall had an opinion about this murder (pinning it on the victim's unnamed pimp), perhaps expressed in his 1929 book, Scoundrels and Scallywags.

Regards,

Mark

Mark:

Thanks very much for the additional information.
I'm unfamiliar with the book you mentioned by Oates. Sounds very interesting.

Sounds very interesting.

Hi How,

Actually I didn't think that much of it. I suppose it's all right for what it is.

Regards,

Mark

Jack could of done this one for all we know. Patricia Cornwell makes mention about him committing a murder in 1908 in her theories book JTR Case Closed.

I'm not endorsing her or that theory.. Just saying he could of killed this unfortunate who was unfortunate indeed. Just thought I would drop that into the proverbial bot and see what you folks had to say.
