Portraits of the victims of Jack the Ripper are to feature in an exhibition in Chelmsford later this year.
Witham artist James Wilkinson has spent 18 months researching the notorious Whitechapel murders of 1888, as part of his 'Face It 777' exhibition in July.
With few pictures of the victims in existence, James has used information from books and previous research to get an idea of what they looked like.
The paintings also include 'hidden' faces of Jack the Ripper suspects.

From another page,
James Wilkinson, from Witham, recently exhibited alongside street artist Banksy and television presenter Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, and has painted the likes of Michael Jackson. :pop2:

How brilliant and fascinating, I would love to see these paintings!
It would be lovely too to see some semblance of a human face and personality behind these victims' names and morgue photos.
