This sneaked up on me anyway.

Sometime a week or so ago, JTRForums finally passed the 100,000 posts milestone. We would have had a lot more than that a long time ago, but Howard decided to prune out most of the older complaints about his contest captions. So about 12,000 posts were lost.

Nonetheless, we've come a long way, baby, from the primitive days of 2005, when Howard and I used to post simple one-word messages to pad the post count. Once Howard exhausted his working vocabulary, we had almost 100 messages in stock. When he made the switch to his fine collection of profane invectives, the post count rocketed to over 1000 before he repeated himself.

Anyway, here we be in 6 figures and we have all of you to thank for it. Keep 'em coming; Howard expects around 25,000 a year now, and that is some kind of posting.

Well you know he gets paid by the word so I'll say no more.

Well the popularity of JTR Forums only increases as time goes by, it's a great little community (well, not so little anymore, evidently), and that's a fine milestone. Congrats to all involved! :)

Cheers,
Adam.
