Thanks, Mike. Noises either at a window or in the walls or attic of a house can be quite unnerving, particularly at night. Similar to the hedgehog that caused the noises that the woman heard, such noises in within a wall or attic can sometimes be caused by mice, rats, or squirrels that get inside the house. Still until the mystery is solved, one's imagination can persuade one it is something else!

Exactly. The number of investigations we have been called to only to find a logical reason for the cause. From loose windows, to creaky floorboards, electrical wiring, to loose fitting pipes.

My son recently told me he was seeing shadows in his room, I went up to see what the problem was and sure enough he had black shadows move across his room. I sat in the dark with him then realised the problem. The rear neighbour had their bathroom light on, were walking past the light, which was sending a shadow across to his room because he had turned his light out and left his curtains open. When I showed this too him he was relieved, and started to laugh. He now sleeps very well and remembers to close his curtains at night.
