Hello there and thankyou for allowing me to join your fine forum. I have been reading it more and more over the last few months and found it very interesting and helpful so thought it was about time I joined in. Been casually interested in Jack the Ripper for a couple of years or so now but have recently found myself getting more and more involved.
So far I have read Donald Rumbelow's book which I found very good and am nearly through Trevor Marriott's (not so good). I also have Ivor Edward's book ready to read and thanks to advice I've read on here, I have just bought Paul Begg's the uncensored facts and A-Z.
I have been on the Jack the Ripper walk, run by London Walks and am doing it again in a couple of weeks with my wife.
I've got and seen two films and while they are mainly fictional I enjoyed the Michael Caine one more than From Hell.
Speaking of fictional Jack the Ripper stuff for entertainment, Sherlock Holmes v Jack the Ripper is one of my favourite computer games as well as Medievil 2 on the PS1 which is set in Victorian London and has a Whitechapel level with a boss called the ripper (pictured in my avatar). I also have a casual game called Mystery in London which is about Jack the Ripper and is fairly enjoyable.
Look forward to getting involved in the discussions on here, getting to know you and continuing my education of Jack the Ripper from a very knowledgeable bunch of members from what I've read so far.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. That app on the mobile sounds good though unfortunately I'm not very technically minded when it comes to mobile phones, mine is just a simple one for phoning and texting on, have to borrow the wifes and get her to show me how to get it and use it.
