Hi,My friend is intently interested in the tumblety name as his mothers maiden name is tumblety and she also hails from western Ireland.He would be happy to give you as much of his family details as possible.He dosnt have access to the internet but would be happy to let me pass on any information to you,if you wish!

Thanks for your reply. Francis Tumblety had a sister living in Liverpool in 1860s onwards. I know that the rest of the Tumblety clan went to the USA on a famine ship in 1847.
I'm trying to find out about the family before leaving Ireland so that's before 1847. Also, unfortunately I don't have the sister's name in Liverpool. I'm not sure if your friend can help (as it's easy to find out about origins of names) but if you think your friend can help then send on the info. That would be great THANKS.
