I saw on the other boards that some dope has posted that he has evidence independent of the diary and the watch that James Maybrick was indeed JTR. He is presently searching for a publisher. I wonder what this guy is talking about - any ideas out there?

i am sorry for every anglosaxon poster here around but the maybrick saga and the credibility it has in the grown up public and among students of the case is certainly not a plus for their culture and the image of it around.
knowing that anglosaxon culture is extremely valuable i consider it a moment of perdition but the fact that it lasts so long is quite disturbing.

i wonder how grown up people can.
even children would have difficulty to consider it serious.

I hear that,my Francophonic friend !-------------The part about the Ripper case focusing on Maybrick and its resulting damage to Anglo-Saxon culture is perhaps a little over the top,mon ami ! -----Since the crime happened in England,it would seem that most of the key theoriticians on the case would emanate from England or being English speaking. ----George, you're right on the money about no one having tangible proof such as DNA,fingerprints,and what not on a specific person(s). I think someone is simply issuing a caveat emptor on this whole charade being foisted upon the crime by snake-oil salesmen regarding Jimmy from Liverpool. Of course,anyone can study Maybrick material,but as Tee points out, buyer beware !-------Someone's comment that Anne Barrett should have been taken to task,since Mike Barrett confessed there was chicanery going on regarding this whole Diary thing, is common sense. When I posted at another site,months ago,the very same idea,I was mildly scolded by one of the three co-authors of this latest b.s. episode,because as SHE said,it would prove nothing................... Hey....You can't lose what you ain't never had,right? Finally,a chance to check the veracity of the one non-drunk in the Barrett household about this material,and the female co-author( one of three in this 41 page earth shattering revelation on Maybrick...............yeah right.) tells me that Anne would "bristle" at the notion. Bristle this. There's no reason for anyone to spend a red cent or shilling or a franc( I didn't forget you,Yuppy !) on this Maybrick "merch" unless you like to throw around hard earned shekels......
