Witness Corroboration ?

Two witnesses who describe the same man....?
Has there been any update as in someone locating an article in which we find corroboration of Astrakhan Man being spied by someone else...or Blotchy Faced Man being described by more than one individual ? My brain's like a sieve these days and there might have been an update...so that's why I'm asking.

This was probably the same mistake some of the London papers made at that time, when in reality it was Hutchinson's account in both.
