I hesitate to post this URL due to objections given over the recent boudoir pillow image, but I ran across it during my continued search for the 'sex pillows' thought to be used in the West End Victorian brothels, which is what I suspect is actually seen in that MJK photo #2. But we are allegedly all adults and this is a site concerning prostitutes and prostitution of the Victorian Age, so here it is. Despite appearances, it really may be a valuable research/reference tool. Seriously.

Well, this URL does show those aforementioned 'sex pillows' in use, but I am not about to post that image. I again apologize for the outrageous pornographic imagery presented therein, but, as Howard said, it was part and parcel of the times.

I have now seen enough to believe that the mysterious object on the table in MJK photo #2 is indeed one of those 'sex pillows', which MJK no doubt must have used to good purpose and for a premium East End price. If true, then this would also give credence to the rumor that she had worked in one of those high-class brothels before ending up on Dorset Street.

True, that mysterious object could be something else, but this is my story and I'm sticking with it.
