The latest ( # 27 ) issue of Ripper Notes features an article on Hyams and a photo of this individual suggested by Mark King as a possible Jack The Ripper......

He looks like a perfectly reasonable suspect to me. I wonder why we haven't heard more about him.

I know buddy... They do have some material on him elsewhere ( C.J.Morley mentions him within his list of 150+ suspects)...Stan Russo doesn't have him in his book...nor is he mentioned in the Ultimate,The Facts,or Complete, the A to Z...or by Mr. Fido in his book which focuses on a mental institution suspect. Mark King is the gentleman who first mentioned this fellow and I'm pressed to find that reference at the moment !!! I think it was in Ripperologist Magazine....

I wonder if Hyams might be found under another spelling of his first name....as in Chaim Hyams.

This guy has all the right stuff,thats for sure.

I think Solomon died 1st qtr 78, but a certificate would be necessary to be certain.
