I don't rate Ernest Dowson as a serious suspect in the Whitechapel Murders, but I do like the position he occupies in the universe and would like to discuss his work, his time, and his addiction to powerful alcohol.
And his possible attraction to the crimes of the Whitechapel Murderer.

Ernest Dowson, rest in alcohol.

Here is a URL for his works which may be downloaded for free to them what find Dowson ( originator of the phrases, "gone with the wind" and "days of wine and roses" and the first person to ever refer to English football in print as "soccer" ( actually "socca").

Thanks for that How.
Trouble with these mild mannered poets and wistful artists was that they slugged a bottle of L'absinthe and then came out of the phone box looking like this:

I love the alcoholic haze surrounding his visions and the words he gives to his conflicting urges of conformity and rebellion .....beautiful.
