1.Any particular area of Ripperology that you enjoy the most?
I love research, so finding a new idea / theory and digging around it is my idea of heaven. My particular love is Victorian social history, and I am in my element reading all things JTR.
2.Any suggestions on how to improve this site without getting rid of me?
How, I love the site! The only thing I could suggest would be more cartoons and perhaps a comprehensive getting to know you section for the members. Casebook is brilliant, but your site has a camaraderie I adore.
3.How many years have you been involved in serious study?
I have been involved in serious study for several months, since beginning to write a book which contains a couple of chapters based around the Whitechapel murders. I have a lifelong interest in the Ripper case which escalated when I moved to East London for a few years in the 90’s.
4.Impressions of the last Ripper book or article that you have read.
Without naming the last book / article, my impressions were - How can anyone be so inflexible in their opinion? We all have our favourite theories / suspects - but are usually open to reasoned argument and a respect of other Ripperologist’s views. I actually found it offensive being informed by the author that everybody else in the field was stupid.
5.Least likely major suspect in your view.
Prince Eddie.
