Folks...

I was wondering if some of you have a "suspect" in mind who does not fit the two basic criteria of a Ripper suspect and would like to share some thoughts on them.

The criteria for being a Ripper suspect fall under the the headings:

A. A MacNaghten Memoranda suspect ( Kosminski,Druitt,Ostrog )

B. Someone from within the period who has performed some feat which for either significant or specious reasons earned the distinction of being considered a suspect down to this very day ( Cutbush,Tumbelty,Bury,Issenschmidt,...etc..)

Now,the charade performed in 1988 ( The Secret Identity of JTR,hosted by Peter Ustinov, for television...) dredged up the limp Royal Conspiracy as well as the equally flaccid D'onston Hoax to the world. I'm not really referring to these specific instances, albeit they are interesting and part of the whole of the Case.

What I mean are those seldom mentioned instances of a "doctor from Brixton with blood on his cuffs"..."a curious lodger"...etc.etc..etc...

Is your interest more on these sort of people who suffer from anonymity?

Let us know.

Thank you.

How, I'm mildly interested in the "old man" man - the one who said to Mulshaw "Watchman, old man, there is a woman murdered down the street" or something to that effect. It would be interesting if he was the same man who called Packer "old man." There was at least one more "old man" reference but I didn't make a note of it at the time and I'm jiggered if I can recall where I saw it.
