I used to drink it in a mixed concoction that was sold everywhere as an apertif and also good for digestion and stomach upsets. I bought a bottle but wasn't allowed to bring it into the UK so it got left at the border somewhere. Never did me any harm :bounce:

Fortean Times, the magazine of all things....fortean used to do advertisements for the stuff and you could buy it and have it imported.

I am aware of a few people who have indulged in it and have not had the urge to cut there ears off, they just act normal, but seeing as i am from Hull that might be abnormal elsewere!:brick:

Lemme tell ya...times are so tough anymore that in order to get a "buzz", I gotta run full speed into the stone wall in the basement (for a buzz) with my head.

I started doing that when gas prices got so high,I simply had to stop huffing gas on a rag for my buzz...because I gotta keep my budget in check. Spray paint prices are outta sight as well.

re Absinthe it's 'er rather a different to getting pissed- its got way too many wormwood bits in it and way too halluciagenic! :help:Still like it though although Ouzo is my safer option!!!!

Now here's a case in point. If Suzi & the rest of us drank Absinthe each and every day, why every day would be like Christmas .
