Some interesting comments and parallels....

"Experts say that, should authorities prove their case against Batiz Aceves, it would serve only to bolster what is known about serial criminals: They operate close to where they live or work, and they tend to be calculating individuals who manage to act out their criminal urges and elude detection, even by friends, colleagues and spouses."

And when we're thinking about the WM, we always have to keep in mind common sense and what we've learned in the last 120 years.

I liked this part, Tim & Mags:

Neighbors of Batiz Aceves, who is in the country illegally, knew him mostly as a back-hoe operator who got up at the crack of dawn to work various construction sites and came home early. Police, however, believe that Batiz Aceves also carved out time to spy on girls as young as 12 in nearby neighborhoods, then waited until their parents left for work in the morning and forced his way into the homes.

Wow...an illegal Mexican. What next ? Snow in winter ? Turkey on Thanksgiving?

The guy...could have beaten this rap....had he hightailed his wetback arse back to Mexico. Extraditing criminals from Mexico is like enduring one of my captions in the contests that Tim puts together.........difficult.

Hey all,

Wasn't there some theory going around that Jack probably lived somewhere in the middle of the points where the murders took place?
That would narrow down the field quite a bit....

Cheers,
Adam. ;)

Hey, one of my old neighbours was a murderer, he stabbed an old guy for £10!!
My neighbour was a builder and had his fingers in a few oies, he was building the deep when he moved in next door.
He used to offer me free tickets and stuff but i always turned him down as i was too busy working!!

I went down one morning to the lounge to find the house full of police officers, my mum told me to go upstairs and wait so i grabbed a cuppa and watched out of the window.

They smashed the door down and minutes later walked him and his partner out, child protection took the baby, and their dog was taken.

It turned out the girlfriend saw him come home one night covered in blood, he threatened her to keep quite and burn the clothes, so she burnt "some" clothes and hid is away.

Whilst he was at work she took the stuff to the police and they burst in the house the next day. She was "arrested" to make it look like she was in on it.

He is now serving time and his girlfriend and daughter have new identities and living elsewere.

Seemed like a nice bloke:tea:
