In my ongoing attempt to cataloge and digitise every Kingston upon Hull Newspaper for the year 1888 I discovered this little snippet on the end of a larger Ripper related piece.
The full piece relates to the Mitre Square Tragedy but on the end of the report was this, dated October 13th 1888 from the Hull and East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire Times.

Morning Mike.
That's a very intriguing piece, although it has cropped up before. I think it's in Feldman's book.
Little snippets like this are worth their weight in gold, and I hope you continue to put them up here. One day, you never know....!
Regards.

Yes that was in Feldman's book- and I'm pretty sure he wasn't the first person to spot it.

Arrests, attacks, New names, and some other intresting snippets.
