"The Diary of Jack the Ripper, purported to have been written by James Maybrick, once suspected of the Ripper killings in 1888. The diary was determined to have been a genuine Victorian-era scrapbook with ink created during the 1950's."
What was I saying the other day about a mid 20th century diary hoax?
I was right and I didn't even know it! :-)

Hi Paul,
I think the entry can probably be interpreted to mean that someone was 'determined' that the diary ink be declared a creation of the 1950s - regardless of any dates the professional ink analysts have come up with.
Love,
Caz
