This is for everyone out there who have interesting photographs to post.
I'm kicking off with a photograph of the prayer book Mabel Greenwood was holding when she died. I have blurred the inscription to prevent others using it, sorry to be so mean but it has never been published before.
The provenance of the item is about 90% and relies on two main points.
1. The inscription on the fly leaf.
2. The book was passed to her daughter Irene who passed it to her son ( still alive) who passed it to his daughter who sent me the picture.

Thanks, Bob. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing the image with us. You say "The provenance of the item is about 90%. . ." However, from the way you describe the chain of possession it sounds pretty definitive that it is the actual prayerbook of Mabel Greenwood so I don't know why there should be any doubt.
All the best

True, but you've always got to accept the possibility, however small, that someone is lying! I personally am quite satisfied that it is the real deal but am relying on the statements of others. In any research you always have to accept the possibility that you can be wrong even if you yourself are convinced you are right.
