JMenges had the idea for a "trading post" section on the site and I think its a damned fine one indeed.

Jon's suggestion is that members of the Forums and whomever else,I suppose, that wanted to list the documentaries, books, magazines,or other materials they have available may want to trade with each other. Even sending blank discs to interested parties on a barter system.

Thanks Howard,

Here's what I would do.

If you see something you don't have, but need from the list below, PM me your mailing address and what you have to trade (of something not on the list, obviously) or send a blank DVD(s) to me and I'll copy my material for you. The whole thing can be done via PM.

This is a permanent trade, so I'd be sending copies of dvds, not the originals, but would also gladly take books, toys, weapons, girlfriends, etc instead of a direct film to film trade.

I'll try to keep it to the harder-to-find (for some) items. No From Hell movies to be found here. But it's better to have stuff given to you than having to spending money, that's my motto.

List coming soon...and post your offers!

This is the best time of year to come up with an idea like that JM...nice thinking.

I am offering Susan, my wife, many miles left on the clock, barely used, good as new, 1 previous owner. Any takers? (Can't even giver her away!)

No, I kid of course!

Most of my duplicates have been sent to other ripperologists as thank you's.

I have every issue of Ripperologist in ezine format, beginning with number #62 all the way to #97. I have them all printed out too,as a side note. Thats around 3500 pages of reading and research.

If someone would like up to 6 issues of the magazine, contact me. The only "thing" I'd like in return is that the requesting party give some thought to supporting Ripperologist Magazine by subscribing for at least a half year, which is a 6 issue subscription.

Supporting the Rip is supporting Ripperology. The magazine is one of the best ambassadors of our beloved field and when more of us have the issues to use at hand, its conducive to building a better message board and community all around.

Think of all the articles that might be of value to you that you've missed since late 2005...one of them may have changed your whole way of thinking on one or more aspects of the Case....

JM - I didn't think there would be things I didn't have. But there are. We're going to have to set up a trade and I'm going to have to dig out my really rare bits of footage, I think.
