Dear Boss
Though I visit this wonderful site every day I rarely sign in as this, for some reason, turns everything upside down and back to front and the last post is first and the first post is last and there's lots of scrolling down and up to do which I don't enjoy doing. What I'd like to ask is why, when you click on 'New Posts' when signed in, you get loads of new posts to view but when you do the same thing when not signed in you get hardly any?

Dear Stephen:
Thats one of the characteristics of the Forums...that the new posts often do not appear.
I try to stay on all the time...as in logged in all the time.
This might help.

Hi Stephen
Further to How's post, he does mean, of course, that you click the option to remember your name and password rather than keep your PC on with a window minimised running this site!
As for the back-to-front, well it did that to me for years and a couple of weeks ago I finally bothered to go into my account settings and change it. It's in the gubbins about 'display' or somesuch. You just reverse the setting it currently shows.

Many thanks, Philip. I hadn't known the option was there. If anyone else wants to do this you have to go into your user profile and click on User CP at the top. Then click on Edit Options on the left and go to Thread Display Options then Thread Display Mode then change the box that says Linear Newest First to Linear Oldest First and lastly click the Confirm Changes box at the bottom.
Thanks again
