The photographs Howard Brown took to accompany the latest reissue of the Sherlock Holmes stories, were rejected by the publisher as "bizarre." Here we see Howard's interpretation of "A Sandal in Bohemia."
Upon its rejection Howard resubmitted it as "The Copper Beeches" (see post 20).
And upon its second rejection, How resubmitted it as "His Last Bough."

The previous post is precisely why I am sending in a few extra dollars on Jon G. Simons' behalf so he wins this week's event either fairly or by the way I used to...er, fairly with a cash incentive..
I gotta caption that I'm saving. Trust me. Its better...more better in fact...than all the combined captions I've seen...except Jon Simons'...which with the $25 I tossed the trailer court Queen's way...should be most triumphant this week.
