Chris helped to organize the first U.S. Jack the Ripper convention in Park Ridge, New Jersey in 2000 and he served as editor of the U.S. Ripper journal Ripper Notes in 2000–2002. Chris is also the lyricist for Jack–The Musical, written with French musician Erik Sitbon, first performed in concert format at the Bournemouth conference in 2001.
