Yep, its fast approaching the end of the year...which means that its time for us ( Who knows? Maybe Tim Mosley will actually participate for once ? ) to vote for the Article of The Year, MMIX.........

Please take a minute or so and examine the material provided each and every month without fail in Ripperologist Magazine...and remember that there are still two issues left in 2009.

Stay tuned...or tuned up.

When do you want nominations in Boss? There's so much choice, I'm going to have to go and refresh my memory on half of them!

Jon:

Thanks for pointing that out.

Please try to have your nomination in by December 30th. Unlike the other event where the winner gets a lifetime supply of mice, this event doesn't have a prize of that caliber to offer. Its the glory of the thing, really.

This year's selection for best article in Ripperologist Magazine goes to two pretty well known mugs in the community for their excellent series on City Policemen ( City Beat)....none other than...drumroll please....

Neil Bell & Robert Clack

Congratulations gentlemen and thank you for the efforts undertaken to enlighten the rest of us.

Many thanks Guys,

I now understand what you mean Jon.

Its nice to know that people appreciate our work. However there are many articles, excellent articles, which are just as deserving for this acknowledgement if not more so.

My own being Debs (with small help from work Rob) on Mylett, a definative piece if I ever raed one. And John Bennetts work on the Rookery, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

There are others also, Chris, Paul and Jons to name a few off the top of my head.

To be honest, the work itself is its part reward. The other part is working with such a great researcher as Rob. Believe me, its a blast working with him, his knowledge is immense and doggedness is a credit.

I also know he will be reading this and cringing....heh heh heh, arent I evil?.

Anyway. thanks again.

Cheers
Monty
