For sheer ODDNESS take a Google Image check out of Maeve Berry's exhibition 'Incandescence' a series of photographs taken inside a crematorium oven- photos of ourselves we'll never see...quite disturbing

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh yes that's it Chris- bizarre isn't it- quite unsettling!....not sure they're good 'looking'- if you know what I mean........... Thanks for posting the link- I was at work earlier and didn't think it would be prudent- mind you I did post the Victorian DEAD pics- so they'll have me down as a nutter now-probably have had for years! Wonder if they did pics of dead pets- as well as stuffing 'em..........Hmmmmmmmmmmmm feel a Rip article coming on............. (Not:deadhorse:tho!! LOL)

An article on Victorian funeral customs for humans might hit the spot.

Not so sure about pets, although I do know there are a number of graves of pets in the grounds of some stately homes.... there are some in the Liverpool area.

Not Victorian but interesting nonetheless... what a name!
