The event takes place on Tuesday December the 8th at 7.30 at Carnegie Heritage Centre in Hull, and is a FREE event to help raise awareness of the centre.

The talk will include:

An audio visual presentation including maps, photo's and Mike's research into the 8 previously named Ripper suspects with links to Hull.

An audio visual presentation on the Hull Ripper Scares.

An audio visual presentation on the Hull Ripper Letters.

Plus: A selection of Mike's research will be on display including facsimilies of Ripper Letters, Press Reports, and BMD material relating to the suspects.

There are roughly 70 seats available, but demand has been so high that guests who are attending should pre-book in advance to ensure a seat.

Wow, Mike. I just looked at the site for the former library. That's a tragedy that the building is not being used. Carnegie was a remarkable man. As stated, he gave money to libraries throughout the world. The Enoch Pratt Free Library here in Baltimore was one of them. He might have been what they call a "Robber Baron" but he did some good works. . . .

Hi Chris, it's a beautiful building and I am very honoured to be given the opportunity to speak there. I hope my lecture not only opens people's eyes to the connections that the City has with the case, but also draws more people to this fantastic building.
