PC problem + forum error?

Hi all

Apologies for the 1 day posting recently

I had a new netbook that I logged in with - and believe it or not, both the new netbook and my router both stopped working practically simultaneously!

I've got a new setup and at least 2 computers to use now so everything should be OK now

I did lose all emails from the last 2 months though

Has anyone else had the problem where the word or phrase you need to type in to prove that you are not a bot does not appear?

I get this when trying to register / trying to reset the password / trying to search the boards

If this is not just happening on my PC, it may be preventing new people from registering...

Nemo and all:

This should not happen on JTRForums specifically because I handle all registrations and the dispensing of temporary passwords to members. Once more, all members should immediately change their passwords upon signing onto the site to one of their preference.

Because I handle the registrations from here, it should be simply a matter of you applying the password and screen name without any questions surfacing to ask you to do this or that in order to sign in.

This is news to me Nemo and I have no idea why those little boxes would suddenly start appearing now, since this is the first time anyone has ever mentioned that being required in order for a well established member to sign in after logging out for a period of time.

Keep me abreast of this should it happen again to you or anyone else for that matter since its one of the reasons why I do the registrations from here.

Hi Howard

If a guest tries to use the search facility then they are asked to type in the word etc, but no word appears...

It also occurs if you indicate that you have forgotten your password etc
