Ladies and Gentlemen, I am pleased to announce that Jtrforums.com, now has it's own Facebook group.

The group was initially launched in 2009, but it was decided that a push for membership was needed, and it has worked. The group features light topics such as What is your favourite Non Fiction Book? Who is your favourite Suspect? etc.

It's a great place to connect, and for Facebook users to become aware our Jtrforums.com.

If your on Facebook, feel free to join, and say "Hello"

Great going Mike.
Along with plans down the road for Forums YouTube run by Jon Rees, we'll have many years ahead of Forums participation in the field.

I think Jack would have been quite bemused by the idea that he would one day have a "Face Book" devoted to him.....

Cheers,
Adam.

Hi Adam, there are several JTR related pages and groups on Facebook, many of them are full of teenage emo's who contribute by writing "I Heart Jack" and other mindless rubbish.
Many of the posters have watched From Hell, and think they are seasoned ripperologists.
The aim of jtrforums.com facebook, it to spread the word in this little corner of the world, and cut to the chase.

Hi Mike,

Interesting stuff - thankfully, I haven't come across any of those groups that you mention. Yet. Just an unfortunate case of ill-informed young people glorifying somebody who was in reality a brutal serial killer, by the sounds of it.

Anyway, great job on setting this page up..... :yo:

Cheers,
Adam.

Then it's a good thing this got going, Mike. They'll do a search for Jeeter and the FB site will pop up. It'll be convenient for them and they'll get some education, hopefully.

Let's hope so, it's nice to see people joining the FB group that have never set foot on here, hopefully it will continue, and create a social network of people with the same interests.

Evil little narcissist that he was, Jack probably would of loved it. Smite his or her black little heart.
