This article reminded me of the cases of convicted Pennsylvania murderers Mumia Abu Jamal and Ira Einhorn, the greasy "founder" of the hippie-oriented Earth Day...where the French drop everything and become ultra-interested in how American courts dispense justice.
Jamal shot a policeman in the head on the streets of Philadelphia nearly 30 years ago, is and was as guilty as hell and of course, Einhorn, a friend of Sen.Arlen Spector, took off and was apprehended in France and extradited only after the Frog government was assured he wouldn't get a deserved execution here in Pennsylvania.
