First the why:

Ripper Notes: The International Journal for Ripper Studies is a quarterly publication covering everything you want to know about the field. It comes in a professional softcover book format with a glossy full color cover with images back and front. At just a bit over 6 inches wide by 9 inches tall and more than 100 pages long each issue, it stands up on your bookshelf with a spine labeled with the date, issue #, theme and accompanying color code for easy reference.

Ripper Notes leads the field with the most recent research, in depth analysis and colorful commentary. Each issue is organized around a particular theme so a variety of authors cover different aspects of related topics. On top of that there are additional articles and regular features.

Casebook: Jack the Ripper readers rank us #1 in the field with 4 1/2 stars, while the Whitechapel Society 1888 Journal calls us "the best of all Ripper related periodicals."

Then the how much:

A one year/four issue subscription to Ripper Notes is only $40 in the U.S., US$45 (or £25) in the UK or Canada, and US$50 (or £28) in the rest of the world. Credit card orders can be sent through our website, or if you pay by check or money order you can get the directions and addresses (US or UK, whichever is more convenient for you) on the website as well.

If you're already sold on the idea, you can head on over to our website at: http://www.RipperNotes.com/subscribe.html

If you'd like to buy one issue to try it out first, you can order a copy through either www.Amazon.com or www.Amazon.co.uk -- just search for "Ripper Notes" to see which ones are available there.

To see cover images, table of contents and sample articles, just click on the following link, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on one of the more recent covers to check it out: http://www.casebook.org/ripper_media...ppernotes.html

And if you ever have any questions feel free to ask me here or send a private message or an email.

This is just to let anyone who has not been a subscriber to Ripper Notes but who might be interested know that we're currently running a special on back issues #s 19-26 as a set. It's eight issues for the price of seven, with more than 900 pages of content running through the whole series of covers planned as a set (you can stack them on the shelf together and the spines can be lined up in order by colors of the rainbow).

Short summaries of what's in each issue and instructions for ordering (we take US or British funds as well as credit cards) can be found at: http://www.rippernotes.com/special2yearset.html
