He wrote well for a youngster, didn't he. I'll have to re-read his excellent autobiography, Never a Normal Man. As I recall, he spent a little time in Canada.

Thinking that myself when I read it...wouldn't have guessed a teenager put that together. Yes, indeed, he spent time in Canada...went to school there at the outbreak of WW2. Hubba Hubba
