Hmmm, seeing the exterior picture of Miller's Court has changed my mind a little now. I'm torn really.;the tap is in the wrong place for one as Robert points out and there doesn't seem to have been as much care and attention to detail in the exterior shot but the interior still has things like the wainscoting and the details Chris pointed out like the bed seeming to be an accurate copy of the original bed.

Here's a reproduction of what we might be seeing across the side of Kelly's bed.



You can effectively make the bed wider than the frame by making such a pallet.

Which almost looks like black straps, maybe canvas straps around the side beam? Perhaps the matress is laid on belts wrapped across the width of the bed? I just can't find an example on the net.
