Regarding MJK, here's one I came across, as a "long shot," with some rather obvious 'difficulties,' but also with some points of interest. A Mary Kelly, age given as 35, was arrested in Feb 1886 along with Thomas and Elizabeth Kelly, and an Ellen Mason, for assaulting a licensed victualler at "Refiner's Arms" which was at No. 53 Buross Street, Commercial Road, EC. Evidently they were all quite drunk and singing and then robbed the publican. Which, hey, happens. The ladies were left off with a lecture, but Thomas got to break stones. I never bothered looking up these people in any census, or cross checking them with Chris Scott's info., but it might be worth a peek. Obviously one would wonder where Tom and Liz were in 1888 if this was the correct Kelly, which it probably isn't.
