Default Dad's army remake

You may have heard they are making a dad's army movie, here's some of the new cast.

All the best

I agree. Dad's Army and 'Allo 'Allo should not be remade. The actors doing the remakes are on a hiding to nothing.

Default Don't panic!

It might not prove that bad. There was a recent stage production with totally different actors which was a critical and popular success, as Jimmy Perry, co-writer of the original series, has pointed out.

I think as long as they don't try and impersonate the originals and the scripts good it might be okay.

Agreed, why meddle with near-perfection. Try and come up with something new that's as good.
