Ha ha. As is Rob McCullough, one of our attendees at RipperCon 2016.

I pleased Rob by giving him a t-shirt emblazoned with the famous quote by Bill Shankly: "Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I can assure them it is much more serious than that."

No, I am thinking of another kind of football, and Wembley on Sunday. . .

I'm not getting the East End connection unless it has something to do with a certain Tower...?

Ah, but in posting the question I didn't say "East End" I said "East London."

Yes you are correct but Abby Normal pipped you with the correct answer at Casebook, and the goodies are going to be headed to her.
