Smile Welcome!

Welcome, Wayne! I hope to see you posting, if you can tear yourself away from reading the great posts that are already here!

All the best,

Note guilty mate, but I do recall using the outside privy on a number of occasions.
I can only wonder now who else did!

Thanks for the welcome.
Been wanting to look into the case for years but never seemed to have the time, so in the end just thought I'd go for it or I'll never get it done.

Any pointers on how/where to start and what books are a must would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Wayne:

Is there a particular area of the Whitechapel Murders ( besides a universally agreed upon solution to the crimes ) that is of interest to you ?

Personally, may I suggest two things ?

One, being that whatever you wish to sink your teeth into, wait for a while before you examine suspects.

Two, if possible, get your hands on the Ultimate Sourcebook, by Stewart P. Evans and Keith Skinner. It contains the transcribed Home Office files plus quite a bit more.

Hi, Wayne,

In the Newcomers section, there is a whole thread recommending books that are the best for beginners. I just bought the one Howard recommended to you, earlier this evening. There are more copies available, though.

If you can't find the thread, choose "new posts" near the top of the page. It should pop up because I posted there tonight.

Have fun,
Beth

Thanks for the pointer Beth, I stumbled across that thread earlier. Thanks again for the help though.
