Default Let's Discuss George Smith the Bookkeeper!

Geo. Smith makes his entrance in the Diary in the 6th entry. "If Smith should find this then I am done before my campaign begins."

Now I see Smith testifying for the prosecution in Notable Trials; he is testifying as to Maybrick's general good health and how he appeared on the day of the Wirral Races.

I also can find Smith in The Necessity for Criminal Appeal

as well as Macdougall.

Is he in any of the modern books on the case? I might be punch drunk and he's staring me right in the face but I don't see him.

Anyone find him? I can't imagine he's not in This Friendless Lady as almost everyone is mentioned who gave evidence at the trial.

I'm certain 10 minutes after I post this I will find him but better here than at York!
