It might be important to note that Ripper 1 is a children's book, albeit one of over 300 pages! I'm not sure where it has anything to do with jolly Jack though.

I very much doubt it, although he may blame 'a' man for them. He's just co-authored a book on the Tudors - pretty good too - and has at least one other book coming out in 2011 (in the Maxwell series). He also makes an appearance in The Definitive Story; keep an eye open....!
