Inspired by Stan Reid, who has plugged away with posts on the subject at hand for quite a while....and Dr. J.J. Badal's outstanding contribution to crime study,...the well written Wake Of The Butcher.
The reader will notice that the long range goals Cleveland planners had for Kingsbury Run didn't come fast enough. I'll try to load this thread up with relevant articles.. Cleveland Plain Dealer November 21, 1933 Page 7 *****

Thanks How. Yes, the first Cleveland Torso murder is just months away and the first of the bodies found in Kingsbury will turn up in a year and ten months.

Hi Stan and Howard
Ironic that the area was by the stadium and that it was used as a location to host the circus when it came to town. The killer and mutilator who operated in the area created his own macabre circus. Chris

First Plain Dealer ( One of three dailies that are mentioned in James Badal's work, Wake Of The Butcher ) edition the day after the Andrassy-Unidentified Man "double event" was discovered in Kingsbury Run.

Prior to the Cleveland case ( For some reason or the other it seems that decapitation and disarticulation was en vogue in the Mid West during the late '20's and 1930's )...we find two women convicted and sentenced to over a century for a disarticulation murder.
Even the chicks were tougher than nails in the American Midwest....

Just think...these two women would have served 76 years of their sentence by this date.....with only 104 more years to go. Hang in there gals ! Cleveland Plain Dealer August 9, 1935 *************

Preceding the discovery of the Andrassy corpse & the other unidentified gent ( a Double Event in the series....), Clevelanders read about the Lady Of The Lake in early September 1934.
