I thought it was a light hearted romp through ripperland, but take everything you read with a pinch of salt!

Peter Underwood's Jack the Ripper: One Hundred Years of Mystery:
Not one of the leading titles in Ripperland, I think, but well regarded enough when it first came out in 1987 in time for the Centennial of the case. It's just that there have been better and more authoritative works out since. Chris

Im just a sucker for the ghost story chapter and the photos are quite good of the locations...I laughed at the bit when J Tully wrote his letter saying he thought Kelly was following him round Whitechapel....hahaha, how ridiculous...
