  • How not to run an airline

There’s nothing like the sight of a passenger being forcibly dragged from an overbooked flight to remind people that, when it comes to customer service, many companies are thoughtless, insensitive, inconsiderate, irresponsible and just plain stupid.

A passenger was forcibly removed from a United Airlines flight by law enforcement on Sunday after refusing to give up his seat.According to a person who says...

United is the scummiest airline in the world. This episode was particularly offensive. I hope we all vow to boycott United.

Strange that among the people that were 'bumped', four just happened to be Asian. I hope that the three thugs that masqueraded as police are well and truly proud of their bullyboy tactics.

As for the victim, sue the ass off the airline and the reptiles reponsible for your injuries and humiliation. At 69 years of age you did not deserve to be treated in this way irrespctive of the colour of your skin.

If this is America 2017, you are welcome to it!
      Be nice to one another!

The luckiest individual in the universe is the person this screeching clown was about to operate on.

He isn't even a real fucking doctor....he's only allowed to do certain things on weekends.

Coincidentally, 'Dinky Dao' in Vietnamese means 'crazy'. This screeching asshole's last name is Dao. He's half way there.

He was busted in 2003 on 98 counts of preparing illegal prescriptions.

He also takes it up the tailpipe ( probably from hanging around in Southern California for a while ). He was busted for soliciting sex from men for drug prescriptions.

I'm flying United every chance I get.

            Furthermore...

3,765 people were asked/forced to relinquish their seats on United Airlines last year. No one here, unless you were one of those bumped, would have known about their policy. 46,000 people from all airlines with a 'bump' policy, were bumped last year.

EVERY airline, with two exceptions, bumps passengers.

The other three Asian men ( It doesn't and didn't matter what flavor they were...only that they were the last people to have purchased tickets.) didn't complain...or at least, didn't caterwaul like a Clinton supporter for weeks on end and had this screeching twat not howled like a hyena in heat, no one would have known about the bumping incident.

It amazes me how quickly some people ( non-Americans) react to shit that they don't know anything about.

A chap I know on another forum is a frequent flyer in the USA and he's quite happy to be 'bumped' onto a later flight. A couple of months ago he took the money ($500) and accepted a later flight for the later flight to take off before the flight he was booked on in the first place. (IIRC a fault was found in the aircraft). On another occassion he was bumped twice meaning that the airline were paying him to fly with them.

                An absolute disgrace.

Bloke paid for a ticket which entitled him to travel in that seat on that airplane with that airline.

The caveat of removal may exist however unless he was a danger to others, there is no excuse to physically assault him.

A cowardly act committed by thugs.

Amazing that people who were not at the scene react only to the physical removal but not to what lengths the airline personnel went to to remove him.

Sort of like how some people immediately look for reasons to defend the police when they get a little stick happy...but without all the facts at their disposal.

The guys sexual orientation, employment or race has nothing to do with it.
He paid for a ticket that entitled him a journey.
He was threatened and assaulted by the very company that he paid the money too. He was dragged off a plane to make a seat available for a United staff member. In what kind of Universe is this acceptable and proper behaviour?

I hope he gets millions from United and I hope the boss is sacked.

Say on another day Howard you happen to be flying United.
The call goes up for volunteers, the bribes start but no-one moves.
You need to be somewhere because is very important, wedding, business appointment, relative dying, it doesn't matter but you need to get to your destination Asap. You paid to get there, why should you miss a wedding, a last few minutes with someone.
Three thugs, was it three? Board the plane and start dragging you out.
                        Feel different?

                          String:

Again, you, nor I, were there prior to the decision to remove this guy.

Neither you or Neil or I or anyone know what transpired. People see some guy wailing his lungs out and instantly pull the itty bitty titty out in support.

Same thing when someone gets capped by a cop. The itty bitty comes out for the victim almost every time ( except for people who are in love with cops or hate cops....)...although in most cases its the asshole with a 9mm bullet in his leg that started the trouble.

Can anyone here name one instance remotely close to this out of the approximately 400,000 bumps over the last decade ?

                          I thought not.

I agree. If the guy hadn't given the three fellows such a problem...taken another flight ( I'll wager a grand that he was informed of company policy prior to the scuffle)....we'd be talking about something else.

Too much 'perception is reality' in the world, buddy.
