I just adore your use of colour, Suzi, in everything you do.

I have synaesthesia, which in my case means that I see numbers and letters as different colours. Hubby just thinks I'm weird. Whole words can be all one colour, two distinct colours or a rainbow of the individual letters. But I don't see the brilliant colours, and colour combinations, that you produce so it's a rare treat for me.

              Love,

              Caz

That thorn one was very atmospheric.

I do remember as a kid poring over those Dulux leaflets that had little oblongs of every conceivable colour. Then as one ages, one stops looking at things. Fortunately we have the artists who dig us in the ribs and wake us up from time to time.

Ah, now allow me to translate. Are you sitting comfortably, Suzi? Diddles? Tiddles? Then I'll begin. (Wasn't that the fabulous Daphne Ox-en-ford?)

Bloody starts with a rich royal blue, with the double o in pale yellow and an orange d.

Caz is buttercup yellow followed by cherry red then pale blue-grey.

Red is blood red, turquoise and orange.

Green is mainly turquoise with the G like a green-tinged orange (the fruit).

Yellow is a curious mixture of mustard, turquoise, cream and yellowy green.

Weird or what? As a child I just assumed everyone saw words this way.
