Happy Birthday To David Suchet

Mr. Suchet isn't a member of the site but a Facebook friend of mine and others here.

It's his 75th birthday.

Here' are over 70 episodes of the series he's most associated with although he's seen in numerous other programs which demonstrate his talent.

To me, it's almost unthinkable that anyone but Peter Falk could portray Columbo, Darren McGavin as Kolchak, Tony Shalhoub as Monk, or David as Poirot.

I concur. A multi talented individual indeed. Happy memories of his portrayal of 'Blott' in Tom Sharpe's book,' Blott On the Landscape'. The TV series adaptation was hilarious.
