Here's hoping everyone has a great three days. We're lucky we get Good Friday off over here at my joint.

Woke up a kupla two three minutes ago and went outside to have a cigarette when I hear the unmistakable ululating of a rarin' to go rooster. Seems someone in the immediate vicinity ( 100 yards or less ) has a rooster who knows and does his job. Pretty cool.

Lyme Regis Town Council (Dorset, England) has recruited two bald eagles to deter marauding seagulls from the sea front.

They’re bloody enormous close up!

Coincidentally, while looking through one of the contemporary newspapers last night, I saw a story that mentioned the famous scout Kit Carson discussing how he shot the eye out of an eagle with his rifle from some ridiculous distance. Whatta dunce. Eagles are majestic birds.
