Was she the first Ripper victim ?
Was she a Ripper victim at all ?

We'll continue to debate that for many moons to come...

RIP Martha Tabram...murdered 124 years ago today.

It was easy to overlook, How. Prostitutes got stabbed 39 times or more including in the genital area, late at night, for no apparent reason all the time in the LVP... don't you know? It was almost as bad as Memphis, Tn. is today... LOL.
        Best Wishes,

Would you care to give us a review of Mr. Trow's presentation, Philip?

So frequently, in fact, that the press reports of these sorts of incidents were actually considered to be ..., well ..., ... boring!

I they had a six pack and a bug zapper to watch for excitement, like we do in summer here in Tennessee... back then... there wouldn't have been a single paper sold (not even the Star) and we would be on a forum discussing Roswell, the Kennedy conspiracy or what's the best beer to baste barbeque with... or the internet porn sites would get a lot more hits.
            Best Wishes,

According to Pope John Delocksley, it was the greatest talk ever held by the Whitechapel Society, so you can draw your own conclusions from that.

I felt Trow was on the defensive from the start and wanted to ask and answer his own criticisms about his theory and didn't want the audience to question him about it.

So you were able to attend, after all, Rob?

                Good!

That means you will be getting a ring, later this week. Lucky You!

                      RIP Martha.

P.S. I still think Pearly Poll was involved.

Useless fact: On the same day Martha Tabram was murdered, the world's first revolving door was patented.

                        RIP Martha.

                        Cheers,
                        Adam.

First Ripper victim or not (and I believe she was), she was yet another unfortunate whose tragic life was cut needlessly short.....R.I.P. Martha.

                          Cheers,
                          Adam.

It's a tad early, but Thursday marks the 126th anniversary of poor Martha's brutal death...let's remember her, and all the other victims, as the annual cycle plays out...

                            All the best
