I never understood why the Pinchin St. torso wasn't considered worse than JtR. That and the other torso cases were indeed creepy.

Days or years? Surely years or am I missing something?

                Anna,

                Don't be so pedintic.

(You're supposed to reply 'Don't you mean pedantic', whereupon, I say, 'There you go again.'

To the memory of the Pinchin Street remains I say, rest in peace; though not identified in life, you are not forgotten now.

A series of short videos & one audio program on this the 130th anniversary of the discovery of the Pinchin Street Torso, September 10th, 1889.

My latest video of the archway in Pinchin Street where the unknown torso was discovered in 1889. I shall get in there one day!

The plot which - somewhere - contains the grave of The Pinchin Street Torso, a postscript to the Jack The Ripper case from September 1889.

As part of my ongoing series of clips showing sites relevant to the Jack the Ripper case, here's the location of the discovery of the Pinchin Street torso.

Plus an episode of Rippercast from April 2008 :

He is Not Dead but Liveth: The Thames Torso Murders
                      With Debra Arif

This episode of Rippercast welcomes researcher and author Debra Arif to discuss the London Thames Torso Murders of 1887-1889. Our conversation covers the Thames and Regent's canal vicim, The Whitehall Mystery, the Pinchin Street Torso and the murder and dismemberment of Elizabeth Jackson. All of these crimes are, like the Ripper murders, unsolved. Theories are presented and questions are answered on this special episode about an often overlooked and understudied aspect of the Whitechapel murders.
