The truth about murder is that about 1/3 of all killings go unsolved in the United States alone. In poorer nations, and those with totalitarian

Of course, although they may have escaped justice for those particular crimes
we don't actually know that they weren't executed for some other murder(s) that they committed.

That's a fair list although I'd replace the Monster of Florence, where there was a conviction, with one, where there wasn't, the Boston Strangler (1962-1964).

I would also replace Stoneman, Trail of Tears, Pusher, Bone Collector and Mexicali Ripper, which all seem a bit nebulous to me, with Thames Torso (1887-1889), Alphabet Killings (1971-1973), Cincinnati Streetcar Killer (1904-1910), Bible John (1968-1969) and the Duff/Sidney Case (1928-1929).

The other 15, I can go along with.

Which would be some justice that they faded into oblivion....if that were true.

When Nina lived in Massachusetts....she lived fairly close to the interstate that the victims of the New Bedford Highway Killer were picked and taken away....real close.
There's a theory that the NBHK is or was also the Lisbon Ripper.

          Thanks for the link, String.

I have something I want to post but because it is dependent upon a link which I have a 90% chance of getting wrong, I don't want to start a new thread=> FEMALE SERIAL KILLERS THROUGHOUT HISTORY.

Here is an index to female serial killers:

            female-serial-killers.blogspot.com/2014/12/index-female-serial-killers.html

Oh, it looks like that doesn't work and I am not surprised but that was what was up in the bar. It is a LENGTHY list with links to articles or other information on maybe hundreds of female serial killers listed by year going back to the middle ages.

              Anna:

Does the list include unsolved cases where a woman was most likely the serial killer? I am thinking of cases like the Ham Vanishings, Duff-Sidney, the V.A Hospital Murders (MI), the Bingham Family Murders and the Prince George's Hospital Murders (MD).

I don't think so. If I have posted in error I will be happy to delete. What I have could have made a new thread except I figured the link would fail so I wanted the option to delete. I was trying to add a collection of other serial killers somewhere. Sorry?
