        In my University years, JtR was what helped the most as far as researching, analyzing information and putting together essays.

        It wasn't unusual for me to take breaks from researching from assignments to delve into the old newspaper archives and the old library stacks looking for Ripper information--it was a way to keep me in "research mode" while still engaging in a holiday

        More recently, I owe the Ripper case the chance to meet a truly great bunch of people, both here and at the casebook. With the internet erasing distance and Jack providing a common point of reference, I've met all kinds of really interesting people the likes of which I couldn't hope to meet anywhere in my hometown.
        "The Men who were not the Man who was not Jack the Ripper!"
