Methinks that Mr. Morley has a problem. . .

But seriously, if he could provide us with a clue as to the context of what we are looking at and maybe specifically what he is looking for, that might help us to decipher the writing. Thanks in advance, Mr. M and Mr. B!

I don't think it will be all that hard but I cannot make it plain enough to read the longer words. At 125% zoom it becomes blurry. I am quite certain the second column says, "2 lb.", as in two pounds, meaning weight.

Yes - it would help to have at least the column headings, and if possible some more samples of the handwriting from neighbouring entries.

I would say the last bit reads "Syph prim", presumably for primary syphilis, and I could hazard guesses at a couple of the other words if they are also describing medical conditions, but it would help to have a bit more information.

Could it be ‘Bubo’ beneath ‘Syph Prim’?

Thanks. That helps a lot. Based on the column headings, I would guess at:

                Go[n?]norhea 24 30 8 [Ag?] nitrate Contagion Gib[ralta]r

The guess for the treatment is based on the fact that silver nitrate was the Victorian remedy for gonorrhoea, according to online sources.

This may be a little more readable.
