        Hang on folks:

According to St. Louis police a man was shot and killed Sunday morning over cheeseburgers he had just purchased from a nearby fast-food restaurant.
Carl Sharp was reportedly carrying several cheeseburgers from a Rally's Drive-In when he returned to his home in the 3800 block of Lee Avenue around 12:30 a.m.
Neighbors say the suspect had asked for two cheeseburgers, but Sharp returned home with three.
Sharp, the suspect and another man got into an argument over the extra cheeseburger, but later decided to eat one cheeseburger each, witnesses said.
After eating the cheeseburgers, the suspect and the other man left.
Police say a short time later, the suspect returned and shot Sharp three times, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 16-year-old suspect fled the scene on a bicycle, but was taken into police custody late Sunday afternoon.

Sharp, 26, was said to have recently graduated from college. He is survived by his wife and two children.

This report does not seem to fit with the perception one might get...that this teenage knuckledragger shot a stranger over a cheeseburger.
It looks like the three men knew each other and as reported above in the St. Louis newspaper, ate with each other before any crime occurred...
Even today, newspaper reports of events that happened minutes ago are often conflicting. I saw something on this story which made it seem that this teenager just shot the guy to scarf up his cheeseburgers....

Okay, that makes more sense. I mean, over a cheeseburger? C'mon now. A Philly Cheese Steak YES! A run-0f-the-mill burger? No.

I can't find any online references, but your comment on a violent altercation or even worse over a cheesesteak has occurred before. Trust me,I just don't remember when.
