Hey Anna I would love to advertise my book on Twitter but have no idea how to start, as I am not a twit-ter yet.

A year and a half ago, I started a thread on the Havant Murder ( 1888 )....upon which Debra Arif posted a pair of photos ( alleged suspect and actual victim ), two firsts as far as I know....and just today, David Green announced his intentions on writing a book on that tragic crime.

          • Helena, re Twitter

First sign up for Twitter. Use your book cover for your avi (like profile picture). Tweets are 140 characters long~short comments. Make numerous comments about your book & provide a link to where it can be bought or to Facebook (like Tom W. does). Lots of authors push their books on Twitter. Follow me @WDTnow & I'll do everything I can to help spread the word through retweets, etc.

Either that or it had many pictures.

Nina Brown located some information on H. T. Haslewood, a Tottenham clerk who wrote two letters to the Home Office in September of 1889 fingering Sgt. William Thick as being the Ripper.

It didn't look like those particular issue of the Answers journal survived when I checked library catalogues, How. I think I did find a holding in the British Library catalogue but for dates in the late 1800s. We need 1907.
